You still have time to enter my contest if you're interested, and if you aren't but you want to see some another contests going on you can check out so see what is out there.
With the start of March starts a new contest from me.
Theme: A ghost in love. Interoperate as you please.
The twist though is that your piece has to be inspired by another piece of art that already exists and must be from a different category of art. Say if you are a poet you look for a drawing/photo that inspires the 'A ghost in love' theme and you write about it (either creating a story from the piece or just a decription of the piece, that's to your interoperation) but it must be clear to the reader that it makes sense when linking to the picture/drawling.
Rules: No graphic content will be allowed (strong language and/or nudity)
Must link the piece you choose to work with in your artist comments.
Must link back to this contest journal in your artist comments.
To enter you have to send me a note to your entry with the title 'A ghost in love' with the category you are entering.
It is open to all genes of art, poetry/prose/photography/drawling etc, but each will likely be judged differently. (tbd)
Your entry has to be sent to me by note before April 1st.
Prizes are still being determined at this point, if you would like to donate anything to this contest (either points/llamas/journal features or commissions etc) please let me know and I'll add you to the list. Updated prizes can be found on my profile.
Mmm, I don't see why not, as long as you link the music of choice in your artist comments and that the piece you create does give the reader/reviewer a clear image that it does make sense that it was that song that inspired it. (does that make sense?) So yea, you can.
