Let me dance in the silence of the water,
to breathe in the strength of the deep.
I twirl like a Ballerina locked within herself,
with silken snow swaying within the rip tide.
I stare into the blackness of its depths,
lost inside a world all my own.
I see a light in the darkness swirling,
a voice whispering for me to dance.
I dance in the silence of the water,
to breathe in the strength of the deep.

Year to come
People who've changed- in a time of sorrow.
Darkness that sets a void between us all
Love that died with so many lies.
Well life blossomed among new friends,
Hope gone astray.

No monsters in my house.
I laid awake,
A shadow creeping upon my bed,
I felt the evil spirit come into my room,
That's when I knew what I had to do,
I got to my feet and shook my fist at it,
That's when I said.
' Don't want no monsters in my house tonight,
I don't want no monsters in my house!
You wont get me screaming,
your nothing but a demon,
It's time for you to go out!
I am a temple of the Holy Ghost,
And I'm protected by the Lord of Host,
Get out in the name of Jesus Christ,
I don't want no monsters in my house tonight!'
I smiled as it screamed in fear,
I watched it as it disappeared,
I felt my Savior at my side,
Patting me on the shoulder.

Confessions of a King
The sound of footsteps fell quietly on the garden grounds; short blades of rich green grass tickled the bare feet of the child who walked to the center of the garden to a large boulder. Like a tiny field mouse he soundlessly climbed up onto the rounded stone, his wide owl eyes instantly lifted to the countless numbers of starry hosts.
“What do you seek out here in the garden dear boy?” The voice of an ancient leader echoed behind the lad, the moon shaped head quickly turned until his gaze found that of the grandfather clock.
“To find out all the secrets of the stars, grandfather King.” The boy inscribed.

White and Black fire
Black and white fire, that is what I saw the first time I set eyes on the beautiful filly. An inferno I just had to have. She was part devil, part angel with her snowy mane flared like embers flying in the reflection of the sun, the midnight paint along her flank roared like the rage of a wildfire. Even the amber in her eyes burned with spirit. I knew she would be a whirlwind to catch and a thunderstorm to contain, but no matter what the cost I had to tame this fire of beauty.
It sure as hell wasn’t easy, for she runs in the wings of lightning and disappears as a shadow in the darkness. I’m a stubborn man so I didn’t

Dear Rainbow Unicorn
I wish you'd visit more. I miss riding with you across fields of buttercups and dancing under the sun. Today a boy named Jamie said you wouldn't come back to me and I told him he'd see, you'd take me flying a billion feet above the playground someday, and he'd be sad because he'd be the only one who wouldn't get to ride you because he was a meanie face.
And meanie faces don’t believe in things like you, I told him you’d be back and that you’d fly on those big rainbow wings back to my dreams because you promised you’d always be here for me, no matter how big I got, because we are best friends an
You said ‘paint me a scene of golden leaves
stroked across a sky of cheerful blue.’
I grab my brush and pull out my easel
to stare out at this autumn canopy.
Crackled golden leaves turn to
a blanket of colorful Julia Heliconians stretched
beneath layers of sapphire calendula wings.
Old oak trees seal their sap
a hidden splendor within dried up bark
renewed by relentless rain,
silent leafhoppers dine on its hidden treasure,
locked within a timeless old tree.
I fill in the gaps, paint colors to the leaves with feathers,
entwine the life of the oak within the insects it feeds.
The sky is a haven of indigo crests that soar effortl
Silently I watch as you walk down the stairs of our house, your large form moves with such unearthly grace as your body glides towards mine. I smile, because even with doubts rolling through my mind about what my life has in store, I can’t help but be happy at one thing that has been a constant gift. You.
You take me into your arms and carry me to the couch. You pull me down and kiss me with a love as true as gold. Our bodies entwine into an embrace of love that fulfills us both to the very core of who we are. Lying there, breathless I stare up at the ceiling.
“Something is eating you,” you state quietly. Your strong hand g
I bet you didn’t imagine you that would be my idol,
my image of the beauty of a loving wife,
a caring mother, a devoted daughter.
I watched the way you and father loved,
the unconditional way you respected him
and he treasured you.
Through the good and enduring the bad,
you didn’t allow the tsunamis of this life
to destroy what God created perfect.
Trials turned wood into steel,
love made the steel unendurable, unbreakable.
You two were the sight of dedication and faith
entwined into the essence of God’s mercy and grace.
When other couples turned their marriage into a
destructive mine field, you two crafted your marriage

Gotta fight another fight - I gotta run another night
Get it out - check it out
I'm on my way and it don't feel right.
‘I’ve given my everything,
fought with all my God-given strength.
I dug my heels in, bucked with vengeance,
reared with the fear of The Almighty.
But I wasn’t strong enough,
my will, my spirit were too sheltered.
I knelled in defeat to an evil man's hatred.’
I gotta get me back - I can't be beat and that's a fact
It's Okay - I'll find a way
You ain't gonna take me down no way.
‘Sometimes in life you have to be beat
to see yourself as something worth having.
But you fight until the very end,

I stare at the pictures,
the ones of you and me.
We use to shine so bright,
with the light beaming in our eyes.
Two souls so fused in love,
that I thought I knew your every thought…
I see your face in the images on the wall,
they smile at me like I’m the fool,
who doesn’t understand what happened.
Where did I go wrong in not seeing the signs?
Your voice is fading… it is leaving my mind,
leaving me scarred… but I see your face…
I see your face….
The photos remind me of all we once had,
and explains to me that I have been mistaking.
Your disguise was so perfectly in place,

I haven’t seen your face,
or felt your hand in mine.
but we stare at the same blue sky,
and whisper our prayers to the same Savior.
I don’t know your name, or the color of your gaze,
though I completely long for your embrace.
I wait for you, like the summers rain,
I wait for you, in the storms bitter tirade.
I wait for you, through the struggles of this life.
I wait for you…. I wait for you…
I faithfully wait for you.
I can’t see your fears or the trials that you bare,
but I’ll pray you through; I’ll pray you through.
I stand in the ocean tide, welcoming the power of the tsunamis,
as I pray you
